Ashdown FoE deliver Renewables Campaign postcards to Charles Hendry MP

Ashdown FoE members ran a stall at a societies fair in Forest Row on 14th March where we handed over some renewable energy campaign postcards to Charles Hendry, Wealden MP and Shadow Climate & Energy Minister. We have been collecting campaign postcards from local businesses and organisations demanding that more of the UK's energy comes from renewable resources such as wind, wave & solar.

The Government is due to publish a renewable energy strategy in Spring 2009. We believe this is a golden opportunity to kick start an energy revolution that will provide a secure source of electricity and heat for the UK while creating hundreds of thousands of new green jobs
