When and where?

We meet once a month on the second tuesday of the month at the Green Man pub, Market Square Aylesbury. Our next meeting will be at 7.30pm on the 13th April 2010. In the interim, why not contact us at aylesburyvalefoe@yahoo.co.uk for further details on our current campaign.

About this group

We welcome members who live in, or close to, Aylesbury Vale. We often work on topics that fall within the scope of Aylesbury Vale District Council or Buckinghamshire County Council. However our local campaigning issues often cross boundaries into Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes and we work with our Friends of the Earth colleagues in these areas. Annual membership is £8 for individuals, £12 for families, and £3 for full-time students.

South East Expansion issues affect us greatly and we are concerned to monitor and influence the large-scale housing and infrastructure developments in our area, eg road-building, waste disposal, new industry, building construction. Our members sit on some of the committees that discuss these issues. We also campaign on international issues such as climate change, bio-diversity, farming and industrial practices.
