The Wave!

Aylesbury vale Friends of the Earth shall join thousands of people flowing through the streets of london as part of the UK's biggest ever demonstration on climate change.The wave comes ahead of the international climate talks in Copenhagen where world leaders will gather between the 7th-18th of december to decide how to tackle climate change.

The aim of the demonstration is to make sure that these agreements deliver a fair deal that protects the poorest and most vulnerable people.Together we can inspire our Government to:

• Quit dirty coal

• Build a green economy

• Protect the world's poorest and most vulnerable communities.

The Wave is organised by the Stop Climate Chaos Coalition - 11 million strong and representing over 100 organisations.

THE PLAN:

 We shall head to central London wearing something BLUE and at 12pm we shall  all move towards Westminster via Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and 10 Downing street before encirlcling parliament.The wave shall then pass over Westminster Bridge and disperse.This march will help pressure the decision makers to do the right thing.
