We welcome members who live in, or close to, Aylesbury Vale. We often work on topics that fall within the scope of Aylesbury Vale District Council or Buckinghamshire County Council. However our local campaigning issues often cross boundaries into Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes and we work with our Friends of the Earth colleagues in these areas.
Annual membership is £8 for individuals, £12 for families, and £3 for full-time students.
South East Expansion issues affect us greatly and we monitor and influence the large-scale housing and infrastructure developments in our area, eg road-building, waste disposal, new industry, building construction. Our members sit on some of the Committees that discuss these issues. We also campaign on international issues such as climate change, biodiversity, farming and industrial practices.
