In Town Without My Car Day - September 2010

We took part in In Town Without My Car Day, where the main emphasis is to travel in to work without using your car, instead using public transport, which is more sustainable - something Birmingham Friends of the Earth are keen to promote.

Birmingham City Council were supportive of this, with leading councillors pledging to travel in without using their cars.

We got the support of Mark Albrighton, from Aston Villa Football Club, who posed in a picture for us, holding a poster designed by us.
