See things differently

Action on Recycling, 19 March 2011

We took part in the national "Day of Action" to draw public attention to the Government's current review of its waste policy. They will be setting out their plans and goals for 2020 and Friends of the Earth want to see unrecycled waste being halved by then. We had a stall in Deasgate where "Mr. Cameron" sawed in half a bin bearing the slogan "It's time Mr. Cameron talked half as much rubbish". And we asked people to sign postcards telling Mr. Cameron that they agree with what we are saying.
