Bee Walk in Seven Acres Country Park

We had a Bee Walk on Saturday 8th September as part of the national Day of Action. Twenty one people enjoyed a lovely afternoon in Seven Acres Country Park. Stephen Cartwright from Lancashire Wildlife Trust very kindly led our walk and gave us a wealth of information about the flowers and insects in the park. We learned about the work done by voluteers with the Friends of Seven Acres and the staff and volunteers of the Wildlife Trust which has transformed the valley into a haven for wildlife including bees.
