13th December 2009 - Peel Tower
On Sunday 13th December 2009 Bury FoE will opening up Peel Tower to visitors from 12 noon to 3.30 pm.
Peel Tower is the landmark on top of Holcombe Hill near Ramsbottom and on a clear day there are amazing views of Lancashire, Manchester, Cheshire, and North Wales.
Admission fees to go up the tower are £1 for an adult and 50p for a child - proceeds are divided between the voluntary groups that help to run the tower throughout the year. Light refreshments will also be available for a small charge.
