On Saturday 5 December 2009 tens of thousands of people will flow through the streets of London to take part in The Wave.
People from all walks of life will demonstrate their support for a safe climate future for everyone.
The event is being organised by the Stop Climate Chaos Coalition and is supported by Friends of the Earth.
The Co-operative is laying on a special train to London for its members and for Oxfam supporters. They are also organising free transfer coaches from Euston to the start of the march in Grosvenor Square and returning to Euston from the end of the march on Victoria Embankment.
The subsidised fare is £15 return (free for children under 16), and the train times are as follows:
| Manchester Picc. | d. 0758 | London Euston | d. 1837 |
| Stockport | d. 0810 | Stoke-on-Trent | a. 2004 |
| Macclesfield | d. 0830 | Macclesfield | a. 2024 |
| Stoke-on-Trent | d. 0849 | Stockport | a. 2044 |
| London Euston | a. 1015 | Manchester Picc. | a. 2053 |
Note: As the train is specially chartered for the event, your ticket won't be valid on any other services. Seats will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis on the day, so please make sure you arrive at your departure station in plenty of time (at least 20 minutes before the train is due to leave).
You can book tickets online via The Co-operative website:
