Sow and Grow - 18th February 2012

The first Caerphilly Sow and Grow took place on the wettest morning in February, but in spite of that, a number of hardy stall-holders and interested people came long. As well as Caerphilly Gardening Club, the Allotment Society and Growing Spaces with a variety of seeds, plants, garden items and bee products for sale, there was very welcoming hot soup available. Special thanks to our speakers - Harold had the attention of the whole hall during his talk on bees. We also raised enough money to sponsor at least one beehive this year. Thanks to all who took part, assisted or just came to shelter from the rain. We look forward to doing it again next year, hopefully with drier weather.
