Regular meetings are held on the 'Second Wednesday of the Month'. Members and non-members are welcome, just turn up on the night. The regular meetings are held in the Vision 21 Offices at 30 St George's Place, GL50 3JZ (map). The Vision 21 Offices are in the building behind Cheltenham library; about 5 minutes walk from the town centre.
The May meeting doubles as our AGM, and the December meeting sometimes takes place at our Christmas Party. To accommodate the number of people attending, both of these meetings are held at different venues. Details of the venues are announced well in advance. Contact one of the group co-ordinators for more information.
Cheltenham Friends of the Earth is a well established, lively, diverse and growing group, active on all things green. In particular, over the last few years we have campaigned on climate change, GM & real food, biofuels, aviation and waste, on both a local and national level.
Members receive regular newsletters, details of forthcoming events and more.
As a member group of Gloucestershire Friends of the Earth Network we regularly work with our neighbouring local groups in Cirencester, Stroud, Tewkesbury and the Forest of Dean.
This site contains an archive of our old Newsletters and Press Releases.
