Martin Horwood, MP for Cheltenmham, is a co-sponsor of the Sustainable Livestock Bill. Martin has agreed to attend a press photocall with us at 11.30am on Monday 1st November 2010 to raise awareness of the Bill.
The photocall is taking place at a local farm, amongst the dairy cows. We would like as many Cheltenham FoE members as possible to join us for the photo. This is an event that the children will enjoy, so do bring them along if you can. Cow masks will be provided for the children, and the adults if they wish. It may be muddy (or worse!) so consider wearing wellies.
The venue is Home Farm, Brookfield Lane, Churchdown, GL3 2PS. To get there from Cheltenham make your way to Badgeworth Lane (which runs between Shurdington and the Arle Court roundabout at the end of the Golden Valley bypass). Half way along Badgeworth Lane is a turning into Brookfield Road, sign posted Churchdown. Travel along Brookfield Road, over the motorway bridge, for about 1km. Just before Chosen Hill School is a turning on the right into Brookfield Lane. Brookfield Lane passes under a narrow railway bridge and over a cattle grid. You will then see Home Farm to your right. Park in the farm yard. This web link http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=389479&Y=220644&A=Y&Z=115 will display a map. The red arrow points to Home Farm.
