Gloucestershire FoE Network 'Food Day'

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the national organisation, Gloucestershire Friends of the Earth 2011 Network Day had a 'Food' theme. The event was held on the 8th October 2011 at Bethesda Church, Cheltenham.

Speakers included Pete Riley of GM Freeze and Clare Oxborrow, FoE's senior food campaigner, below.

Information stalls included Vision 21's GrowVision exhibition, the Gloucestershire Orchard Group and DEMETER certification label. Transition Town Cheltenham brought along lots of samples of some gorgeous food, including some lovely jams and chutneys, along with the recipe cards to allow us to recreate them at home, below.

See the Gloucestershire Friends of the Earth Network website for details of forthcoming events.
