You are invited to Cheltenham Friends of the Earth 'Ready for Action' Discussion, to help kick-start Friends of the Earth's new energy campaign, Final Demand.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday 14th March at 7.00pm in the Vision21 meeting room at 30 St George's Place, Cheltenham, GL50 3JZ. The Vision 21 Offices are in the building behind Cheltenham library; about 5 minutes walk from the town centre.
About Final Demand
The energy company rip-off is a national scandal. The Big Six supply 99% of households and make billions in profits by keeping us hooked on expensive dirty fuels. And they have the Government wrapped around their little fingers. It's time for our leaders to stand up to the Big Six and give us energy we can all afford. For more information about the campaign, visit Final Demand.
The discussion
This event will be a great opportunity to explore the Final Demand campaign, take a look at local climate change issues, and decide on the action you want to take in your area.
Bring your own questions, ideas and personal experiences and help shape local action.
All are welcome
Please RSVP to [email protected], call Neil on 01452 854483 or write to Cheltenham FoE, c/o The Berries, 201 Prestbury Road, Cheltenham, GL52 3ES
