Sat 18th Feb 2012 - SW Regional Gathering

Friends of the Earth have organised a 'Regional Gathering' on Saturday 18th February 2012 for local groups in the South West. The event takes place at 3rd Floor, Bush House, Bristol, BS1 5JN and runs from 10.30am until 5.30pm. There are more details in the attached preliminary programme.

The gathering will provide an opportunity to :

- develop your campaigning skills & knowledge
- learn about the latest Friends of the Earth campaigns
- share ideas and inspiration with others taking action where you live.

Brush up on your campaigning skills and know-how, learn about the latest campaigns, network with local activists and community groups, meet Friends of the Earth staff, hear from a range of speakers and help plan how we can make an impact in the year ahead.

Several of the Cheltenham group will be attending. We plan to travel to Bristol either by train or (depending on numbers) by car share.
