Croydon Eco-Veggie Fayre - 1st November 09

Croydon Friends of the Earth held a stall at Croydon Eco Veggie Fayre on Sunday 1st November.  Attendees at the Fayre signed Food Chain campaign postcards and took away climate change action sheets, which explained how to reduce carbon at home as well as how to put pressure on politicians for a strong deal at Copenhagen.

 

Group member Michael Howard spoke at a themed session on Sustainable Development, explaining the Food Chain campaign and how it fits into the wider issue of sustainable food.  He was joined on the panel by representatives of Lush, Passion for the Planet Radio and Croydon Green Party.
