Farmers' Markets
In March the group held a Food Chain campaign stall at Purley Farmers'
Market and also joined forces with Sutton Friends of the Earth to hold a
stall at Wallington Farmers' Market.
New members Sarah and Bex were particularly effective in telling
shoppers about the aims of the campaign and spurring them into action.
Over 300 local people signed campaign postcards, calling for Croydon and
Sutton MPs to support a new Sustainable Livestock Bill in Parliament.
