About us

When and where?

The group meets the first Thursday of each month, 7:45pm at Eastcliff United Reform Church hall, St Swithun's Road, Bournemouth (Opposite B'mth Railway Station).

About this group

The Group works across the Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch conurbation. Everyone is welcome to attend our monthly meetings. If you decide to join us the annual membership fee is £5.

As well as campaigning on both Local & Global issues, Group members take an active part in Local Agenda 21 Forums at Bournemouth, Poole, East Dorset & Christchurch Local Authorities. We are currently working on the Bee Campaign and the key local campaign is the Navitus Bay Windfarm. We are trying to counteract the extreme negativity locally about this project. We also carry out fundraising activities so are always looking for members that want to be actively involved in the Groups campaigning.
