About us

When and where?

We are a local campaign group taking action on a range of issues - local, national and international. As well as Climate Change and its effect on the environment, we are actively campaigning on issues such as local transport, GM foods, aviation, and waste recycling to name just a few. We meet monthly to discuss current environmental issues and to plan our campaigning strategy. We link closely with Friends of the Earth nationally and support their national campaigns.

The group meets every month. Contact us or visit our Facebook page to check the next meeting details. We try and vary the meeting venues and also meet in Claygate, Walton, Esher, Thames Ditton... And open to other suggestions!

We are always looking for new members and have plenty of things people can do, whatever your skill or interests. If you have any questions or want to get involved, please contact Helen at [email protected]

About this group

Friends of the Earth local volunteer groups work to improve the environment locally, nationally and internationally.

We're helping to:

  • Connect more people with the environment.
  • Persuade politicians, businesses and others to see things differently.

Elmbridge Friends of the Earth is a licenced local group of Friends of the Earth England, Wales & Northern Ireland.
These local group pages are maintained by the groups themselves. Please contact the local group in the first instance.
