16.11.11: FOE and Hackney Council host conference on financing sustainability
Hackney and Tower Hamlets Friends of the Earth and Hackney Council are pleased to announce their free, half-day conference 'Practical Solutions: financing sustainability in London', on Thursday 8th December.
This conference will bring together members of sustainability and finance teams to discuss practical solutions to funding environmental sustainability; the conference is aimed at local authority officers. A fantastic line up of speakers includes: Cllr Sophie Linden (Hackney) Ray Morgan (CEO, Woking), Philip Monaghan (Infrangilis) Bob Gilbert (formerly Islington), Cllr Joe Goldberg (Haringey), Afsheen Rashid (Lambeth) and Bevan Jones (Islington).
