06.02.13: FOE organises debate on energy issues with Meg Hillier MP

**Stop press: new start time of 19.30, due to parliamentary vote**

Join Friends of the Earth Hackney and Tower Hamlets for a public meeting with Meg Hillier MP, on 'Energy we can all afford', on Wednesday 27th February at the Shoreditch Trust.

With the Energy Bill currently going through parliament there has never been a more timely moment to discuss our pressing energy issues. The Energy Bill will affect all of us, and it could help to control consumer bills, meet our climate change targets and create green jobs. But will it?

Our panel includes Meg Hillier, MP for Hackney South and Shoreditch, Hanna Thomas (East London Green Jobs Alliance) and Martyn Williams (Energy Bill Revolution).

  • Date: Wednesday 27 February
  • Time: 19.30 - 20.30
