02.08.10: Festival-tastic

What with it being festival time, and with Victoria Park right on our doorstep, the group has been busy encouraging festival-goers to take action to support our Food Campaign.

At Lovebox and at Field Day we had Food chain games and info, and we've been asking people to write to their MP to ask them to attend the bill's second reading on 12th November, and to sign EDM 367, which supports the bill. We had a really positive response with several hundred people getting involved, and lots of them wearing their brilliant cow masks...

The organises of Lovebox and Field Day both gave us a free stall and passes for staff so we're very grateful to them, and look forward to more campaigning next year!
