Friends of the Earth > Local Groups > Hammersmith & Fulham
Whether you want to learn new skills, meet new people or just feel good about yourself, Hammersmith and Fulham Friends of the Earth can hook you up with opportunities that could change your life for the better.
Our current priority campaigns are climate change, energy, renewables and waste and resource use. We campaign on a broad range of other issues including responding to local council plans and challenging local politicians. At the moment we are involved in FoE's Final Demand campaign which focusses on the dominance of the big energy companies in the energy market and we plan to get involved in FoE's other campaigns for 2012, Bees and Biodiversity and Greener Products.
We aim to continue to grow, increase our media profile and awareness raising, do more campaigning with other groups within London and focus on key effective campaigns - in particular taking part in campaigns that are part of a national/international campaign. We are always interested in new ways of doing things and welcome people from all backgrounds and walks of life.
So please check out our website (http://www.foe.co.uk/hammersmithfulham), come along to one of our meetings and get in touch.
Alternatively, if you can't make it to a meeting, please get in touch by e-mail at info@hffoe.org.uk, or by phoning Pam on 020 8994 1239. We look forward to hearing from you!
