About us

When and where?

Most months we have a meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. If you want to get involved with current activities please contact Nick or investigate opportunities through our main website (link below). Meetings are at the United Reform Church on the junction of Eden and Union Street in Kingston Town Centre, starting at 8pm.

About this group

We campaign on a broad range of enviornmental justice issues but curbing climate change is a key factor in most of our work. In the last few years we have developed project work, mainly in the educational sector. Our Website is an educational resource and provides information regarding domestic energy saving as well as other project work and campaign information. We are launching our seeds project as part of our low carbon diet educational campaign in November 2008 with seeds funded by Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames.

Low Carbon Communities linked to Zero waste and international sustainable development are three key themes we work on. Our work connects with our interational partners in Sierra Leone and we hope to evolve parallel project work wih FOESL that will see mutual benefit and a better understanding and practice in global sustainability.
