Please drop us an email or give Fiona a call (see below) if you want to check the date and venue. Everyone is very welcome and we're always delighted to see new faces!
Our group encompasses the London Borough of Lambeth, which includes Brixton, Clapham, Oval, Streatham, Vauxhall, Waterloo and West Norwood. You don't have to live in Lambeth to join us, but please be aware that this the area which our local campaigns will focus on!
Recently we have been campaigning on FoE's national climate change and Fix the Food Chain campaigns. In the past we've also participated in national biofuels and renewable energy projects. Closer to home, we're creating a directory of local shops to encourage people to support their local community. We are also formulating a campaign to promote recycling in the Borough.
Yearly membership is £5 or £2 for unwaged and students. This goes towards the purchase of materials for campaigning, attendance at FoE's national conference (a lot of fun!) and research.
