Springing into 2011
Spring at last! Campaigning over the winter months is never easy, but we've been keeping busy since Christmas; check out our highlights below and new photos. We're all looking forward to long sunny days spent saving the world over summer... why not join in? Warm fuzzy glow and new friends guaranteed. You might even get a tan!
- Plans are well underway for our short film on energy waste from advertising. Our very own animator extraordinaire (and general cinematic guru) Ada got up at 5 a.m. to shoot some test interviews at Vauxhall bus station! We've quizzed several of the advertising companies (and the council) by phone and email, and we will be meeting one company face-to-face later on this month.
- On 19th March we did a stunt for FOE's national `Talking half as much rubbish' campaign, which aims to reduce `black bag' waste by 50 by 2020. Check out the photo gallery and let us know what you think of our own David Cameron! Please don't forget to sign the campaign petition.
- We've got loads new members - carry on at this rate and we'll be taking over the world! It's been great to meet you all - thanks for coming :) A big thank you to everyone else who's been in contact by phone and email - please do pop alongto a meeting when you get the chance.
