Leicester FoE condemns the plans for an incinerator in Shepshed - 30th June 2012

The Government has ordered the building of a waste incinerator in Shepshed, although planning permission was refused by Leicestershire County Council. We campaigned against the planning proposal and we have proclaimed our disappointment with this latest announcement - see news coverage in the Leicester Mercury and the Citizen's Eye. We will be following developments closely, watch this space...
