Larks on the Loopline Autumn Clean up Days by Sustrans - 7th/11th Nov

Sustrans are organising a couple of workdays on the Loopline and if you enjoy working outdoors and caring for your local environment they would love you to come and help. They need volunteers of all ages, and backgrounds and don't mind if you have no experience, as long as you have enthusiasm. They will provide hot drinks and light snacks, gloves and tools. If you have tools of your own do please bring them along, (loppers, secateurs, bow saws). Remember to wear old clothes and come prepared for changes of weather.

Work we need to tackle includes: pruning back, clearing felled timber, creating habitat piles, painting chicanes and some litter-picking.
Here are the details of upcoming Loop Line Clean Up days, if you fancy joining them please meet at the location given, Sustrans staff will be there to help everyone get started.

  • Saturday November 7th 2009 09:45-13:00, meet at Belle Vale Road entrance to the Loop Line
  • Wednesday November 11th; 09:45-13:00, meet at Well Lane entrance to the Loop Line
