NOTES
1.The Transition Town movement supports community-led responses
to climate change and shrinking supplies of cheap energy. Through community schemes for self reliance in things such as food, energy and transport the movement is building resilience and happiness. There are now Transition Towns around the country. See:
http://www.transitionnetwork.org2. These include the founding of a Solar Coop & MaidEnergy Coop as well as of the Maidenhead Gardenshare scheme. Many TTM funded courses and workshops were run last year as well as an Autumn Apple Fair in Grenfell Park last
