Also don't forget to check out our events and come along, or just get in touch via the contacts page
Plus we have our own website, check it out by following the link and stay informed:Our group was set up in early 2005, since then we have been raising awareness about both local and global environmental issues and campaigning to make newport a cleaner, greener, more sustainable city. We are always looking for more people to get involved in any way they can, whether its coming along to meeting, helping out with events, or signing a petition, it all helps.
We are very active in the Newport area taking part in and running many events, such as the Maindee festival, and the green film club. We have campaigned against plans for the M4 relief road, vogen biofuel plant, and waste incinerator. We are also currently involved in setting up and developing GREEN Newport a forum for all things green and in Newport, and we are looking into the establisment of an environment centre in Newport.
For more information check out our campaigns and events sections.
