Bedworth Tesco Protest Cycle Ride

On December 3rd 2011, a group of about 20 cyclists cycled around the new Tesco development in Bedworth to protest at the lack of cycle lanes and safe cycling provision to the new store. Despite £1.1 million having been spent on the new road layout, there are no cycle lanes. We have been campaigning for over a year and our demands have been ignored. The creation of two-way traffic in George Street ringway has left narrow lanes which make it difficult for cyclists. See the photos in the Photo section.
