About us

When and where?

We meet on the third Tuesday of every month at 7pm at the Herne Tavern, 2 Forest Hill Road, SE22 0RR.

About this group

We cover the whole of Southwark, encompassing Peckham, Camberwell, Dulwich/East Dulwich, Bermondsey, Elephant & Castle, Nunhead, Rotherhithe and Walworth.

Membership is £10 per year or £5 for discounts (students/pensioners/unemployed).

We are always looking to support new groups in the local community. We are supporting a group launching a plastic bag reduction scheme in Peckham this Autumn and helped set up a group devoted to food issues, particularly finding new growing spaces, called Growing Southwark, which works in several areas around the borough. On an ongoing basis, we work particularly on planning, transport, waste and recycling issues.

Southwark Friends of the Earth is a licenced local group of Friends of the Earth England, Wales & Northern Ireland.
These local group pages are maintained by the groups themselves. Please contact the local group in the first instance.
