Caroline Nokes signs Yeo/Gardiner amendment to the energy bill

Following our packed meeting in Romsey on Friday, Caroline Nokes MP has signed the Yeo/Gardener amendment to the Energy Bill which establishes a target for the decarbonisation of our energy supply.

Caroline is the first Conservative MP to sign the amendment - let hope more follow suit.

If this amendment is made law it will give some security to the renewables industry - securing green jobs here in Britain. It will also ensure the gradual clean up of our energy supply, make us less vulnerable to price hikes from foreign gas suppliers and help us tackle climate change.
