Opera for climate change action with Friends of the Earth - outside Wood Green library July 13th!‏

With our collaboration touring opera company The Opera Group performed a piece of street opera - with a good dose of comedy - outside Wood Green library on Wednesday July 13th. The piece was called Save the Diva, and was designed to promote awareness of the need for action on climate change.

Shoppers and home-going workers got a pleasant surprise and were treated to seven or eight minutes of planet-friendly street opera! As you might guess we were there running a stall and handing out leaflets.

The related full opera - Seven Angels - was performed three times in the same week at theLinbury Theatre at the Royal Opera House.
