The Bee Cause campaign - a big win, and the fight goes on!

Friends of the Earth's national Bee Cause campaign achieved a major victory in June when Lord de Mauley announced the Government would create a National Pollinator Strategy. The campaign had been for a national Bee Action Plan, so the announcement was a great achievement for everyone who'd campaigned for this.

Now the Government must be held to its word - and the campaign aim becomes to get the Government to deliver a Strategy that REALLY delivers what bees need.

So we'll be running stalls and arranging various activities to support the campaign. At the moment we're looking to hold a Bees Tea with David Lammy in November, and at the same time show the film More than Honey. Watch this space!
