Bee populations are in rapid decline all over the world. We need local action to prevent a disaster in the food chain. We're bringing people together from across the borough to:

•Find out about the problem and why it matters
•Meet others working to help bees
•Discover what we can do together in Waltham Forest

Plans for the day include:

Child friendly activities including a bee quiz, make your own bee hotel and plant your own seeds in our plant and seed swap.

Skillshares on planning a bee-friendly garden and how to make change happen locally

Short talks with guest speakers including Save Lea Marshes, Pesticide Action Network, Waltham Forest Friends of the Earth, Friends of Queens Road Cemetery and Friends of Stoneydown Park. More to be added soon...

Short films including reknowned documentary Queen of the Sun

Come along to learn, network and share ideas.
All are welcome - young and old, from bee-ginners to seasoned act-hive-ists- there's something for everyone!
