About us

When and where?

Warrington Friends of the Earth campaigns locally on environmental issues and solutions, for people and the planet. We're an active bunch meeting regularly in Warrington and always running a few projects or campaigns at any one time.

We welcome new people at the meetings, either to dip your toes in or to jump right in. Our campaigns tackle a range of local, national and global issues and our activities vary from running events and stalls to lobbying politicians, doing media work, running local education projects and getting new positive projects off the ground, to name a few. Everyone's welcome no matter how experienced you are, as are new ideas.

We meet on the first Tuesday of every month at the Friends' Meeting House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington. Meetings start at 7.30pm and usually last until about 9.30pm and sometimes we'll head off for a drink afterwards. To find out more, either contact us using the e-mail link or address below, phone Dina Baird on 07960 420030 or simply turn up at the next meeting.
