Hundreds of people from across Warrington came along to Warrington Friends of the Earth's Wild About Warrington fun day on Feb 15th.
The free, nature-themed, family fun was organised with Warrington Council and included arts and crafts, honey tasting, orienteering, workshops, fun and games, mural painting, raffles, dance and lots of bee-making!
In the evening the public came along to an exclusive, free screening of the multi-award-winning "THE QUEEN OF THE SUN - what the bees are telling us."
The event marked the start of Warrington Friends of the Earth's "Wild About Warrington" project, which aims to raise awareness and understanding of the value of wildlife, wild spaced and nature in Warrington.
