About this group

The group has been established for 33 years. The group's activities cover the areas of Watford Borough Council and Three Rivers District Council. We organise visits to local environmental organisations, such as Renewable Energy Systems of Kings Langley, whose wind turbine can be seen from the M25, and the Integer House at BRE Ltd. Our campaigns are directed towards raising awareness of climate change and ways of reducing its effect.

The group is currently campaigning on a number of local and national issues, including:

* Impact of the proposed Watford Health Campus on local transport issues.
* Campaigning for better buses.
* The Croxley Rail Link.
* Projects to save energy and to use renewable sources.
* Conserving open spaces and wild life.
* Waste minimisation and recycling.
