Green Drinks is a worldwide phenomenon launched in the UK twenty odd years ago. It's all about anyone interested in green issues getting together, buiding up friends and contacts and keeping in touch with the green movement. The events have no real agenda, are not run by any one group, don't run their own campaigns, don't make a profit. They're as organic as your potatoes.

What we aim to do is bring us together, offer a chance to share what we're all up to, meet new friends and old comrades and build allies and contacts. And drink a bit too. Everyone who is interested in environmental issues or active on them in York in anyway is welcome.
