York's Jammed held another fun and successful event in the centre of York on Saturday 10th April with a picnic in Parliament St. In the beautiful sunshine we spread out our rugs out, propped up the gazebo, started the music jamming and handed out loads of jam tarts and sandwiches to people passing by.
There was loads of interest in the campaign with lots of people of all ages and backgrounds coming up the stall and showing their support for the campaign by signing postcards to their councillors. Lots of people were concerned about air pollution in York and wanted better public transport or cycle routes.

York & Ryedale Friends of the Earth is a licenced local group of Friends of the Earth England, Wales & Northern Ireland.
