What's going on

We campaign on a broad range of environmental justice issues.

This year we have been involved with:-
* Policy submissions on the Local Development Framework.
* Schools work on organics and climate change.
* Promoting the Big Ask campaign.
* Further work on our organics site and research on wider organic issues.
* Updating and transferring our website which now has a domain name - see our link
* Researching carbon rationing and designing a community orientated framework to increase public understanding and involvement in carbon reduction measures.

The main work we are currently working on is:-
* A partnership with an FoE group in Africa, with initial focus on organics.
* Investigating, researching and informing community interests on issues around the long term waste contracts.
* We continue to monitor the situation with regard to Tesco, the Competition Commission report and the site at Tolworth, whilst looking to support small shops.

Also check out our website at www.kfoe.org.uk for more information.
