Young Direct Marketing Awards

This year, Friends of the Earth have teamed up with the Young Direct Marketing Awards.

You're invited to create a marketing campaign to support our work on climate change.

Direct Marketing (DM) is a way of communicating with people on an individual basis by mail, telephone or email. It is there to supply information, to ask for help or to encourage a person to buy something. DM always invites a response.

The aim of the awards is to inspire a whole new generation of creative talent. Whilst enabling students to have fun learning new skills.

To help you take part, the DMA provide:

  • free teaching pack
  • lots of exciting lesson ideas
  • information on curriculum mapping.

And there are some great prizes on offer:

  • digital camera
  • prestigious awards ceremony in London.

Last year's awards were a real success, with hundreds of entries.

This year, students will be invited to create a direct marketing campaign for one of 3 UK charities:

Providing valuable opportunity to learn about the work of these organisations. And showing how the skills learnt in school can help lead to a career in marketing.
