Shout about...

...is Friends of the Earth's annual activity project for young people who want to get active on environmental issues.

We’ve just finished shouting about solutions to climate change and almost 2000 schools and youth groups signed up.

We had a fantastic time meeting young people like you. And we'll be creating a Shout about review magazine where you can find out what these young people got up to.  Keep an eye on this page and don’t forget that we’ll also be announcing the winner of our competition to win a wind turbine.

Don’t worry if you missed Shout about week.  You can still ask your teacher or youth leader to run a lesson. Simply download (PDF) the activity pack or ask a teacher to sign up and we’ll post one.

Want to see what happened in 2005? Watch a video clip from Mountfitchet High School in Stansted, read our Shout about review (PDF) magazine or check out the fantastic competition entries in our online gallery.

Would you also like to learn more about waste and recycling? Our Shout about waste pack from 2003 is full of exciting lesson and activity ideas. Ask your teachers to download the pack and you can learn about it with your friends at school.

To view PDF files you will need to download Adobe Acrobat Reader. Visually impaired users can get extra help with these documents from access.adobe.com.
