Getting media coverage for events you've done, things you want changed is a great way of letting other people know what you're up to and getting more people involved. It can also help push through decisions.
There are several ways to get into the local papers, write a letter to the editor, send out a press release, give an interview or invite the press to a photo opportunity. Either way there are key things to remember.
