Winberry Hill

Made by Caroline Eccles and David Pownall, this short film was the Overall Winner in Friends of the Earth’s one-minute film competition 2008.

‘Winberry Hill' met the competition's theme ‘Which bit of the Earth are you a friend of?' by uncovering a hidden slice of nature next to a bypass in Lancashire.

It was picked as the winner by movie moguls including ‘Trainspotting' Producer Andrew MacDonald and David Sproxton of Aardman Animation.
