Laugh or the Polar Bear Gets It
"A very, very funny evening." The words of just one comedy fan at London's famous HMV Hammersmith Apollo. Their comment came after Friends of the Earth took control for one night only, with our sold-out comedy and music fest, Laugh or the Polar Bear Gets It.
8 comedians and 1 musician took to the stage on 18 November 2011 and kept the packed theatre entertained for longer than 6 back-to-back episodes of Doctor Who.
Compered by comedy giant Greg Davies, the audience lapped up an evening of laughter. Stars included Tim Minchin, Josie Long, Badly Drawn Boy and Richard Herring. Plus, via pre-recorded video, Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell.
