Laugh or the Polar Bear Gets It
"A very, very funny evening." The words of just one comedy fan at London's famous HMV Hammersmith Apollo. Their comment came after Friends of the Earth took control for one night only, with sold-out comedy and music fest, Laugh or the Polar Bear Gets It.
8 comedians and 1 musician took to the stage on the 18 November 2011 and kept the packed-out theatre entertained for more than 3 hours.
Compered by the irrepressible Greg Davies, the audience was treated to a full-on evening of entertainment. Stars included Tim Minchin, Josie Long, Badly Drawn Boy and Richard Herring. There was even a special pre-recorded message from Razorlight frontman and Friends of the Earth supporter, Johnny Borrell.

Thank you to all the people who helped organise the event and to everyone that came along to enjoy the show - for buying a ticket, supporting Friends of the Earth and showing our talented line-up such appreciation.
The money raised will help fund our critical campaigning work, including the fight against climate change and keeping the polar bears safe.
We're also pleased to announce the winners from our free audience prize draw. Congratulations to Ms H.Tubb from Hayes who has won a luxury weekend break glamping with Canopy and Stars and Mr J.Guihen from Croydon, who wins a meal for two at Pizza East.
Laugh or the Polar Bear Gets It will be back next year, so keep an eye out here soon for news on tickets and the 2012 line-up.
