Garden glut?

Got a glut of fruit or veg in your garden? There's plenty of ways to preserve them. Jams, jellies, chutneys and pickling are great if you enjoy cooking. Oven drying is ideal for tomatoes, peppers and apples. Freezing is a good option, just check whether it's best to cook or prepare the food in any way first. Lastly, some roots and tubers, like beets and carrots, can be left in the ground until you need them.
