Greener goodbyes
The Natural Death Centre - http://www.naturaldeath.org.uk - is a good source of information if you'd like to plan a green funeral while you're healthy. For example, you can choose to be buried on private land or one of the 200 natural burial sites around the UK. There's also an increasingly wide range of biodegradable coffins available - from simple unvarnished pine, cardboard, bamboo and wicker, to eco-pods which are made from naturally hardened recycled paper.
