It's crackers
Thanks to Debby in Devon for today's Tip, an alternative to expensive, and often wasteful, Christmas crackers. Take a square of paper or cloth and make a bundle tied up with ribbon or raffia. Add your own contents - including the essential jokes or brainteasers (easily found on internet), plus small items - such as sweets, nuts, toiletries - or things to suit your family's or friends' interests - such as small items of make-up or hair ornaments, seed packets, craft items, little toys etc.
